The Starmer Regime is an Amoral and Vindictive Sham

Despite the big leads in the opinion polls and despite the welcomed autopsy and evisceration of the Conservative government, I still and never will look at Keir Starmer and see a Prime Minister.

Sure, the bar has been set incredibly low by the likes of Johnson and Truss, but I still see an incompetent and dishonest servant of the British security state that will maintain the profits of fucking great big corporations at the expense of the poor and working classes.

How any of these liberals can expect anyone with even the tiniest modicum of empathy and compassion to get behind this ridiculous beige sellout absolutely blows my mind.

“Let’s get Starmer in first and then worry about what follows”, is one of my favourites at the moment.

Does anyone really think Keir Starmer is going to betray the powerful wealth hoarders that gifted him the keys to Downing Street because a few centrists @ him on Twitter, or worse still, send him a fucking petition?

Why would any politician - particularly a proven liar like Starmer that only knows how to do spineless political opportunism - suddenly do whatever you want them to do when they’ve already got your vote in the bag?

The Labour Party has become an amoral and vindictive sham under the current regime. If you haven’t noticed this by now then I’m afraid you really haven’t been paying attention.

Let’s look at that interview hosted by the alleged Islamophobe Trevor Philips and the smug, dictatorial creator of Labour’s hierarchy of racism.

Starmer told Labour member Philips that families of refugee children arriving by boat who do not notify the authorities of their impending arrival will be ‘bracketed as terrorists’ under his anti-terror laws.

A large number of these families are escaping the Western world’s terrorism, Mr Starmer, the same terrorism that your Labour Party will continue to fund and fuel when in power, going by the number of arms dealers that will be rolling up at this year’s Labour Party conference in Liverpool.

A Labour Party that welcomes Trevor Philips and Peter Mandelson whilst shunning Jeremy Corbyn and Diane Abbott isn’t a Labour Party for the people, it is a Labour Party that will only serve the interests or the unashamedly corrupt elite.

Even Tony Blair refused to completely sideline the left, but spiteful Starmer’s “Blairism on steroids” has enabled the hard right of the party to smear, bully, and stitch-up the left with the full backing of the party leadership.

Barely a week goes by without the Labour Party breaking a pledge or scrapping a policy altogether, and this week was no different.

Labour has U-turned on its 2021 pledge to increase sick pay and guarantee it to all workers, abandoning millions of precarious workers to choose between their own physical wellbeing and financial crisis.

This latest betrayal followed Labour’s deputy leader Angela Rayner receiving a standing ovation at Trade Union Congress after telling attendees, “The next Labour government will strengthen and increase statutory sick pay”.

Just a few days later and yet another Labour Party promise is in tatters. Is this how Keir Starmer plans to tackle workplace insecurity?

Do you think the gaslighting knight of the realm even bothered to let Rayner know?

In 2021 Starmer told the same TUC he would guarantee sick pay to all workers, and increase the amount of sick pay the worker receives.

How many more hints do people need to realise the Labour Party is back in the pockets of big business? Starmer will abandon workers to a life of insecurity and exploitation.

Further questions surrounding Starmer’s position on Brexit have led to accusations that he still secretly holds a flame for the European Union and he is looking to achieve Brexit in name only under a Labour government.

Keir Starmer not only campaigned for Remain, but also wanted a second referendum at the expense of a Labour government, and now he wants to “make Brexit work“?

It’s the classic politician's trait of saying one thing to one audience and something entirely different to another audience, but when you have swathes of the billionaire media fighting your corner you will get away with it.

The only thing missing from this week’s Labour clusterfuckery is a tweet from Keir Starmer wishing the outgoing chairman of News Corp, Rupert Murdoch, a very happy retirement and thanking him for his contribution towards providing the British public with a fair and balanced media coverage over the last 120 years.

Servile Starmer and his team have been  clamouring for a private audience with the phone-hacking testicle of hate throughout the summer. I think that would be enough to make me want to retire too.

I was also unfortunate enough to catch a bit of an interview between Channel 4’s Krishnan Guru-Murthy and the red Cameron/Osborne combination, Starmer and Reeves.

It would appear Mr Guru-Murthy has confirmed what we have been screaming from the rooftops for the last three years.

The Labour Party - founded by the working classes, for the working classes - is simply a rebranded Conservative party from a decade ago, with an unhealthy sprinkling of Blairism.

Even the multi-millionaire architect of austerity with a thing for Colombian marching powder hailed Reeves’ plans for OBR reforms as “sensible, pragmatic improvements”, which he hopes the Tories adopt.

The Tories austerity economics Chancellor agrees with Rachel Reeves. Just have a little think about that for a moment.

David Cameron really wasn’t lying when he said “we’re all in this together”, because the “we’re” he is referring to is the ruling class that have left us with the worst living standards since records began.

Not their living standards, of course. They have just got wealthier, we are just the ones that make them wealthy.

Labour is now an entirely unsupportable entity. It thrives on nepotism and cronyism, and is institutionally racist, no different to the Conservative governments of the past thirteen years.

The Starmer regime will gain power in 2024, be in no doubt of that, but we will come and say “we told you so”, when he betrays you.

And believe me, he will.

Until next time,

Rachael
