Starmer: A Manipulator, A Liar and an Absolute Hypocrite

Image
We’re now at the point where one broken Labour pledge effortlessly flows into another broken Labour pledge .  Has a political party ever broken this many pledges or performed this many u-turns in opposition? Surely not?  In a week where Keir Starmer has seen his own net approval rating rapidly plunge to minus 25% - his lowest rating since October 2021 - and a new poll for Opinium Research that has Labour’s lead down to 10%, it was hardly a surprise to see “Keir Starmer is a liar” trending in the UK. I’m not sure if some people have only just realised this, but Keir Starmer is every inch the liar Boris Johnson is.  Sure, they’re different types of liars. Johnson is the type of liar that promises it wasn’t him with his hand in the cookie jar, despite the evidence smeared around his grubby little lying face.  Starmer is the type of liar that will promise you a new cookie jar but will deliver you a used dog poop bag because of “difficult decisions”, “fiscal rules” and being “laser-focu

The Starmer Regime is an Amoral and Vindictive Sham

Despite the big leads in the opinion polls and despite the welcomed autopsy and evisceration of the Conservative government, I still and never will look at Keir Starmer and see a Prime Minister.  Sure, the bar has been set incredibly low by the likes of Johnson and Truss, but I still see an incompetent and dishonest servant of the British security state that will maintain the profits of fucking great big corporations at the expense of the poor and working classes.  How any of these liberals can expect anyone with even the tiniest modicum of empathy and compassion to get behind this ridiculous beige sellout absolutely blows my mind.  “Let’s get Starmer in first and then worry about what follows”, is one of my favourites at the moment.  Does anyone really think Keir Starmer is going to betray the powerful wealth hoarders that gifted him the keys to Downing Street because a few centrists @ him on Twitter, or worse still, send him a fucking petition?  Why would any politician - particularl

Starmer: Bought And Paid For By The Rich And Powerful

When the politics of New Labour died it left behind a legacy of inequality, insecurity, slogans and spin over substance and solutions, growing privatisation, failed military interventions, and a social security system that stigmatised single mothers, disabled people and the poor and vulnerable as ‘scroungers’.  Skip to the present day and the neoliberal capture of the Labour Party has given a whole new lease of life to the New Labour relics and their failed dogmas. I’ve always thought Blair would look so much better standing in the dock of The Hague rather than sitting next to Keir Starmer doing a selective Q&A session with a hand-picked audience of Labour staffers and client ‘journalists’ looking for their next ‘look how tough Starmer is’ headline.  It must be said, Keir Starmer is as tough as a dampened sheet of Asda Smart Price loo roll. The only noticeable difference is the fact the low-cost loo roll actually serves some sort of purpose to the poor whereas Starmer is only inter
