Starmer: A Manipulator, A Liar and an Absolute Hypocrite

We’re now at the point where one broken Labour pledge effortlessly flows into another broken Labour pledge

Has a political party ever broken this many pledges or performed this many u-turns in opposition? Surely not?

In a week where Keir Starmer has seen his own net approval rating rapidly plunge to minus 25% - his lowest rating since October 2021 - and a new poll for Opinium Research that has Labour’s lead down to 10%, it was hardly a surprise to see “Keir Starmer is a liar” trending in the UK.

I’m not sure if some people have only just realised this, but Keir Starmer is every inch the liar Boris Johnson is.

Sure, they’re different types of liars. Johnson is the type of liar that promises it wasn’t him with his hand in the cookie jar, despite the evidence smeared around his grubby little lying face.

Starmer is the type of liar that will promise you a new cookie jar but will deliver you a used dog poop bag because of “difficult decisions”, “fiscal rules” and being “laser-focused on growth”.

But both Johnson and Starmer will tell you whatever they think you want to hear. Nobody really knows what they are voting for when these charlatans open their mouths because a promise today is always a betrayal tomorrow.

This week’s big U-turn has seen Labour scrap its plans to remove the charitable status of private school - despite Rachel Reeves announcing in 2021 that her party was ideologically opposed to fee-charging schools avoiding tax by operating as charities.

But it wasn’t just Reeves.

In a speech last summer, the liar Keir Starmer pledged: “When I say we are going to pay for kids to catch up at school, I also say it’ll be funded by removing private schools’ charitable status.”

And just to complete the trio of treachery, the ultra-Blairite shadow education secretary Bridget Phillipson promised in January that Labour would be “scrapping charitable tax status for private schools to fund the most ambitious state school improvement plan in a generation”.

The deceit and the duplicity is quite staggering. Never before has a political party made this many commitments just to tear them to shreds at the first sign of a sympathetic audience with the unscrupulous elite.

If the Starmerites and the “I’m not a supporter of Keir Starmer, but…” crowd want me to stop “going on” about their malevolent demagogue they might want to ask him to stop the abandonment of a pledge or policy that barely resembles something that is slightly to the left-of-centre.

Starmer hands ammunition to the left almost as fluently as he will hand ammunition to Ukraine when the establishment and the billionaire media give the intolerable fraud the keys to principle-free power, in 2024.

But I’m afraid the excuse that says “I am voting Labour to get the Tories out”, no longer washes with anyone that has been paying just the slightest bit of attention to the Labour Party’s repositioning on the Overton window.

Yes, you are literally voting to get the Tories out. I accept and understand that. But this understanding and accepting malarkey is a two-way street and you need to accept and understand that you will be replacing one load of Tories with another.

Think about it. Going cap-in-hand to influence-seeking billionaires for assistance in funding your filthy capitalist crusade simply isn’t compatible with democratic socialism. Isn’t that what your Labour Party is supposed to represent?

This isn’t just Keir Starmer that’s in on the moral heist of the Labour Party - far from. This shadow cabinet is packed out with liars and hypocrites that will gladly donate their last remaining principle for a pat on the head from Uncle Rupert.

For example, David Lammy.

In July 2016, Mr Lammy told Parliament he could not vote to renew Britain's nuclear-armed submarines because of his Christian faith.

“I stand here first and foremost as a Christian and it's from that perspective that I speak.”

"I stand united with Pope Benedict XVI when he said 'in a nuclear war there would be no victors, only victims.”

"The idea of loving thy neighbour and protecting our world for future generations simply cannot hold if we have stockpiles of weapons that will destroy our neighbours and destroy our world for future generations.”

"Not only do nuclear weapons contradict religious principles, any form of international relations based on the threat of mutual destruction is totally contradictory to the preamble of Article 1 of the United Nations Charter."

Sounds great, doesn’t it? Although Lammy didn’t mean a single word of it.

Also David Lammy on X and in The Torygraph this week:

“Just as Bevan built the NHS to be the heart of Atlee’s Labour, so Ernst Bevin helped found NATO and established our nuclear programme to be its strong arm.

This is Labour’s heritage.

My commitment to NATO and the UK’s nuclear deterrent is unshakeable.”

So what the actual fuck happened over those six years to make Bilderberg-attendee Lammy go from praising the Lord to nuking the world?

This isn’t just a screeching U-turn from the Bishop of bullshit Lammy but more like a full scale retreat to rearm himself with nuclear warheads.

And let’s finish this week’s Starmelogue with another sneaky little U-turn from the crimson conservatives. This time it’s social housing that gets tossed aside to the detriment of ordinary people just trying to get by.

Storyteller Starmer has now ditched Labour’s commitment to restore social housing as the second-largest form of tenancy.

Labour are now saying it is merely a long-term aspiration, and those of us that have been scrutinising Starmer for the last three years will know this means it will never happen.

We must be close to the point where the liars of Labour will run out of U-turns to make. It’s hard to keep up with the abandonment of pledges and the breaking of promises we hear from the party, week after week.

Starmer’s primary ability is to spin the wheels of manipulation. The only thing that is worse than a liar is a liar that is also a hypocrite. Keir Starmer is a manipulator, a liar and a hypocrite.

Feel free to prove me wrong.

Until next time,

Rachael
