Don’t Look Away… Gaza Is Being Starved To Death By Israel

Some 5 months have passed since the Israeli genocide of Gaza began. 103,000 civilians are either dead or injured with thousands more permanently buried beneath the rubble of a place they once called home.

We are now at the “we told you so” stage of Israel’s massacre of the Palestinian people.

We told you this was never about self-defence and we told you Zionism is a dangerous, extreme and fundamentally racist ideology. We told you Israel planned to exterminate the Palestinian people and we told you they would do this to build thousands of new homes for illegal settlers.

Just this Wednesday, Israel’s settlement-planning authority issued permits for nearly 3,500 new illegal settlement housing units in the occupied Palestinian territory, the first such approval since Israel’s war on Gaza began on October 7 last year.

The far-right Israeli finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich said the constructions add to the 18,515 housing units in illegal settlements approved in the last year.

When an immoral, dishonest and inherently violent state such as Israel tells you they are ethnically cleansing a population, believe them. Don’t deny what they admit.

Israel’s forever friend, Germany, has asked Israel to withdraw the plans, adding they are “a serious violation of international law”.

They “asked”.

“We strongly condemn the approval of further settlement units in the West Bank,” the country’s Federal Foreign Office said in a statement.

US Secretary of State for Zionism, Antony Blinken said the ethnic cleansing plans were “illegal, disappointing, and counterproductive to achieving enduring peace”.

“Our administration maintains firm opposition to settlement expansion,” Blinken said at a news conference in Argentina’s capital Buenos Aires.

If America and Germany can’t reign in Israel’s maniacal, genocidal atrocities I doubt Satanyahu and his cabal of Zionist extremists are going to care for their opinion on ethnic cleansing either.

I always pay close attention to the Israeli propaganda war machine. I’m sure you do too. You have to suffer this ordeal to be able to rebut the nonsense from Israel’s paid troll army and their ‘deadly’ copy and paste strategy.

Israeli Foreign Minister, Israel Katz has instructed all Israeli embassies to initiate a "large-scale Hasbara" campaign to exploit allegations of sexual violence on October 7.

If the allegations actually stacked up, and gruesome allegations they are, why would Israel need to exploit them? Why would one of the most powerful propaganda machines on earth need to exploit allegations if the truth was simple enough to find?

Israeli propagandists spent most of the week gleefully waving the report of just one individual from the United Nations that made sure to put in their report that virtually all of the evidence they heard came from Israeli state institutions and widely-discredited charitable Israeli organisations.

That’s one hell of a caveat, and one that is made even more ridiculous by the fact the Zionist state doesn’t recognise the authority of the UN, but will happily selectively quote their reports.

You may remember a recent article in the New York Times entitled “Screams without words”? The report made claims of sexual violence committed against women members of the Kibbutz Be’eri during the Hamas-led attacks on October 7th.

However, Michal Paikin, a spokesperson for the Kibbutz denied the claims of sexual assault, contradicting the NYT article which mainly relied on the testimony of an unnamed Israeli special forces paramedic.

All allegations of sexual violence are truly disturbing and it is only right they are investigated by independent organisations, but the Israel propaganda machine churns out lies as freely as you and I breathe.

Where is the media attention for the Palestinian women and girls being subjected to horrific sexual violence while being detained by Israeli terrorist forces?

Last month, UN experts decried reports of rape and sexual assault of Palestinian women and girls held in Israeli detention. Did you hear about that on BBC news? Probably not.

The independent experts, part of the UN’s fact-finding and monitoring mechanisms of the Human Rights Council, confirmed in a statement receiving reports of Palestinian female detainees being subjected to “multiple forms of sexual assault,” with at least two detainees reportedly raped, while others were allegedly threatened with rape and sexual violence.

Sky News, CNN, Channel 4, where the hell are you? They were quick enough to publicise the claims of mass sexual assault by Hamas fighters, but they’ve not got anything to say about proven cases of rape by Israeli rapists?

Palestinian lives matter too. We won’t EVER let them forget this simple and undeniable truth.

The statement also described women being strip-searched by male Israeli officers and noted the circulation of degrading images of detainees online by sick, perverted Israeli soldiers.

Again, why isn’t this being forced down your throat every time you catch a bit of news?

If you ever wanted to know the difference between the evil of the Zionist extremists and the generous people of Gaza you need look no further than the various border crossings into Gaza where Israel settlers routinely block the roads to prevent humanitarian aid from reaching the starving and dying Palestinian people.

While the colonial settlers have caused a queue of humanitarian aid trucks that stretches for more than 4 miles, Gazans have donated more than 40,000 units of blood during the ongoing Israeli aggression, despite starvation, displacement, and unimaginably dire circumstances.

At the time of writing, at least 25 Palestinian children - each and every one an innocent - have been starved to death by Israel’s aid blockade.

The ever-increasing images of tiny, malnourished Palestinian babies and children, bones protruding through barely-existent flesh, are reminiscent of the devastating Ethiopian famine in the 1980’s.

Back then we had the good and great of music, and Bananarama, recording charity records for Ethiopia that are still played every Christmas some 40 years later. We even had concerts around the world to draw attention to the desperate humanitarian crisis that was unfolding.

So where on earth is that sanctimonious and intolerable twat, Bono hiding right now? In a Khamas tunnel a mile below the streets of Rafah?

Of course not. He is busy (quite literally) singing songs of praise for the Zionist regime. Changing the lyrics to the U2 hit, ‘Pride (In The Name of Love’), the Zionist rocker groaned:

“Early morning, October 7, the sun is rising in the desert sky… Stars of David, they took your life but they could not take your pride.”

I know, Bono, how about, “I want to run, I want to hide, I want to tear down those walls that hold me inside”, from a Palestinian perspective?

The final word this week goes to the hostages. (Zionist trolls suddenly pay attention).

But they will be disappointed to know I am referring to the bodies of 47 Palestinian hostages, returned to Gaza on Thursday. The Red Crescent said a number of the dead had been obviously tortured.

These 47 lives, cruelly taken by the Israeli terrorist regime, will barely get a mention from the Zionist-occupied Western media outlets because they refused to acknowledge they ever existed in the first place.

The Palestinian hostages, abducted by Israel alive and well and returned by Israel in body bags, were buried in a mass grave in Rafah.

We cannot and will not remain silent like our government while these brutal crimes against humanity are carried out with impunity by a rogue pariah state.

We cannot and will not be told a rally for peace and justice - attended by half-a-million of our friends and neighbours - is an “antisemitic hate march”.

It is incredibly easy to declare something as “antisemitic” when you define fair and legitimate criticism of Israel’s genocidal practices as acts of antisemitism.

If I was to criticise the creeping fascism that has reared its ugly head on the streets of Britain, would you describe me as anti-Christian? No.

If I was to criticise the brutal Saudi regime for their mass executions of political activists am I suddenly Islamophobic? Of course not.

It really is that uncomplicated.

Britain, for its part, must follow Sweden and Canada and reinstate UNRWA funding immediately. Anything less and we are as guilty as Israel of causing the gravest famine and humanitarian crisis of our times.

I don’t know how, and I certainly don’t know by whom, but Israel must be stopped from starving Gaza to death.
