This Christmas In Gaza… Stop The Genocide Now

This Christmas in Gaza families and friends will be mourning the loss of 20,000 civilians. Some of the dead won’t have anyone to mourn them because their entire family line has been wiped out by American-made Israeli bombs. 

The Zionist killers have committed no less than 1,700 massacres and 14,000 of the victims are women and children. This just isn’t okay.

Just think, the figure of 20,000 dead is just the bodies and the body parts of those that have made it to hospital. 

The colonial terrorist state of Israel’s plan to carry out the mass expulsion of Gaza’s population has failed. Plan B is now in full swing and thousands of tonnes of bombs are being dropped on the besieged strip and the resilient people of Gaza, making it entirely unliveable. 

This Christmas in Gaza the forcibly displaced population - thought to be 1.9 million humans - will be fighting for scraps of the most basic food known to humankind while the genocidal maniacs feast on free blood-soaked food from American fast food giants and shit coffee companies.

Hunger is rife and the Israelis are starving the population of Gaza as a tool of war. Israel has blocked the entry of food and medicines via its own crossings in Gaza despite being obligated to keep them open as the occupying power. 

This Christmas in Gaza the surviving children that used to learn and laugh in their school now take refuge in what remains of their school.

Today, they're hungry. Their cries go unheard. Their school is now a shelter for the displaced, or in Israeli military language, a “legitimate Hamas target”.

Nowhere, and no-one, is safe in Gaza. The killing of thousands of children cannot be acceptable collateral damage. 

It’s a fucking genocide and it’s pretty obvious that humanity has well and truly failed when we are having to tell the world that killing children just isn’t okay.

The Israeli occupation military have completely destroyed 90 schools and universities and partially destroyed another 282 in the name of “Hamas control centres”,  yet Hamas still seems to be active to me.

This Christmas in Gaza Israel is continuing its oppressive long-standing military policies towards the Gazan population - but has changed the focus to allow for far greater bloodshed among innocent civilians. 

Israel’s determination to ethnically cleanse Palestine has never been as great as it is today. This really didn’t begin on October 7th at a music festival. 

The war criminal Netanyahu believes that after the world has accepted millions of refugees displaced from Iraq, Syria and Ukraine, why would the forcibly displaced population of Gaza be any different? 

This Christmas in Gaza the innocent victims of Netanyahu’s state terrorism will only have 9 hospital and medical centres to use out of 36 that stood before the genocide got underway.

Imagine three-quarters of our hospitals in Britain being bombed to the ground and explain to me how we would be able to cope, considering our hospitals can barely function following decades of neoliberal policies that have systematically battered the foundations of our greatest socialist creation. 

Allow me to give you some numbers. 

310 Healthcare workers DEAD. 

99 Healthcare workers DETAINED. 

355,000 with INFECTIOUS DISEASES due to displacement. 

23 hospitals DESTROYED by Israeli bombs. 

53 health centres OBLITERATED by Israeli bombs. 

140 health institutions partially RUINED by Israeli bombs. 

102 ambulances completely ANNIHILATED by Israeli aggression. 

This Christmas in Gaza you could forgive the entire population of the battered enclave for wondering why the United States can form an international coalition to protect the interests of corporations in just 48 hours while leaving the Gazan people to face the full force of the war criminal Israeli military for nearly 80 days. 

The moral authority that the West awarded itself with which to judge and lead the world has been shattered by its blind support for the Israeli regime. 

The US and Britain arrogantly granted themselves this apparent moral superiority as a whitewash for their own human rights abuses of the past such as the massacre of the native Americans, the slavery of the Africans and the unleashing of the atomic bomb. 

The colonialism that haunts Britain’s past is now the present and future for Israel. 

This Christmas in Gaza the Zionist government of Israel is planning to occupy Gaza on a permanent basis. 

A document produced by Israel’s Ministry of Intelligence leaked to the Israeli press in late October outlined the forcible and permanent transfer of Gaza’s 2.3 million Palestinian residents to Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. 

An Israeli estate firm is already cashing in on the genocide, churning out blueprints to build Israeli homes in Gaza on land that had been levelled by their own bombs. 

I cannot repeat this often enough: This did not begin on October 7th and to suggest otherwise would be a disgraceful act of truth-twisting.

This Christmas in Gaza the journalists on the ground are asking what objectives have been met by the Israel military. No hostages have been rescued, in fact they have executed 3 Israeli citizens, holding a white flag. And it would appear Hamas is far from eradicated.

The brave Palestinian journalists are being killed at a rate with no parallel in modern history. The silence of their ‘colleagues’ in the billionaire western media is as deafening as it is shameful and disturbing.

98 journalists have been killed during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and a further 8 have been detained by Israel, determined to stop the truth from reaching your social media feeds.  

It doesn’t matter what they tell you: the truth isn’t antisemitic. Opposing the cancer of Zionism isn’t antisemitic. Speaking up for the people of Palestine isn’t antisemitic.

The reporters on the ground in Gaza continue to work under brutal conditions, facing constant bombardment, imprisonment, displacement and possible targeting by the maniacal Israeli forces.

This Christmas in Gaza it will be harder to practice your faith than it ever has been before. At least 112 mosques have been utterly destroyed by Israeli bombs. 

If just one single Hamas member - whether they are political or militant - has worshipped in a mosque, the same mosque gets levelled to the ground under the pretense of it being a terrorist command centre. 

A further 200 mosques have been partially destroyed in Gaza, and despite the occupation insisting there are “no Christians in Gaza”, they have completely destroyed 3 churches. 

If there are no Christians in Gaza it will be because the Israeli government have butchered them all. 

Israel’s bombing doesn’t discriminate between Muslims and Christians, it only aims to kill human beings that stand in the way of the Zionist movement and their genocidal desires.

This Christmas in Gaza if the bombs don’t kill you an Israeli sniper will, and if the sniper doesn’t kill you the diseases will, and if the diseases don’t kill you the hunger and dehydration will. 

We want a constant and comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza. Enough death. Enough destruction. This is an urgent moral obligation.

This Christmas in Gaza humanity has failed.
