Unelectable, Untrustworthy, And Uninspiring: What On Earth Is The Point Of Keir Starmer?

There’s so many things I’d love to talk about today.

But here we are again, at least four CLP vote of no confidence in Keir Starmer motions have just been passed in the space of hours, and I’m already talking about Labour, so on we go.

Ten days on from the most impossibly awful night for Keir Starmer, and things don’t seem to be improving for the principle-free messiah of the middle-ground ‘moderates’.

Starmer is in an unenviable position of weakness.

He was sold to you as Mr Electable long before he declared any leadership intentions. He was sold to you as the safe pair of hands that the Labour Party so desperately need after the disastrous 2019 general election. He was sold to you as the respectable former Director of Public Prosecutions who would clear the Labour Party of its ‘racists’ and ‘antisemites’.

Did you keep the receipts?

Electable? You told us Jeremy Corbyn was the problem. Any other leader and Labour would be twenty points ahead. These days I only have to type in the word “twenty” and predictive text brings up “points ahead”. Seriously.

After the bloodbath of May 6th there is not a single Manic Keith Preacher in this world that will *ever* lecture me on what being electable actually means.

Starmer wasn’t just beaten 10 days ago, he was broken. His alleged aura of electability proved to be an utter falsehood of the most gigantic proportions.

A safe pair of hands? Have you seen an accurate number of current Labour membership? Some sources claim it has dropped by more than 100,000. I’ve no doubt Labour will tell you differently, because manipulation of facts and figures is what they do, much like their idols in government.

There’s nothing safe about declaring an unwinnable war on the Labour left while opting to actively support a government that’s own grotesque and unforgivable ineptitude has massively contributed to deaths of 150,000 of our loved ones.

Can you imagine Starmer as Prime Minister now?

His mind-blowingly hypocritical ‘Foreign Secretary’ Nandy would get on the Zoom and the conversation would be something like…

LN: Hey Keith, those bloody Palestinian children are bullying one of the most advanced killing machines on the face of the planet with their catapults. Shall I release a statement?

KS: Now isn’t the time for statements my town-centre-obsessed comrade, get down to the fucking allotment and bring me Corbyn’s head on a plate.

LN: I was going to suggest nuking Islington…

KS: Christ no, my bestest focus group has an office in Islington.

Safe pair of hands? He’s an absolutely useless liability on a good day.

And how is Starmer getting on with expelling all of those racists and antisemites? I was expecting hundreds and hundreds of Labour members to get publicly dragged, but the only headline-grabbing exclusions and suspensions that I have heard about have been mostly Jewish, and left-wing, with their only apparent ‘crime’ being a fondness for socialism.

Of course, I have no doubt some awful people have rightfully been excluded, I’ve just not read or heard about it, but a denial of the existence of antisemitism in the party, or in society as a whole, would not only be wrong, but it would be downright dangerous.

For example, Labour’s new Shadow Chancellor tweeted this (below) in recognition of the ‘virulent antisemite’, Nancy Astor.

Just drift back a couple of years for a moment.

Imagine if then Shadow Chancellor, John McDonnell, put out a tweet like that.

The Daily Mail would start a petition to call for his hanging. Dame Hodge would lead a march on McDonnell’s home. Panorama would put together an hour-long warts and all documentary, and Newsnight would dedicate an entire forty minutes to each letter of the tweet, and the true meaning behind each word.

And what about the long-awaited independent Forde Report? It was likely a bit too independent for Starmer’s liking, wouldn’t you say?

Starmer never genuinely cared about the contents of the Labour Leaks - he only cares about catching the person/people that dared to reveal the behaviour of his bastard friends.

Keir Starmer hasn’t dealt with racism in the Labour Party, he has exasperated it. You can see it, I can see it, you can’t really miss it.

Labour’s defeat in Hartlepool wasn’t a great shock. Not just because of Starmer’s tragic awfulness, but simply because Labour’s steady decline in the North has been happening since the days of Blair and Mandelson.

So who better to assist Starmer in speeding up that decline than Mandelson himself? Do these imbeciles realise they are going to need to win these very seats in the North to stand even half a chance of forming a government?

Jeremy Corbyn managed to hold off the decline in 2017. His Brexit position was Labour’s last chance of salvaging the North, but Starmer and his People's Vote posse selfishly put an end to that. I’m not sure about the people of the North, they can speak for themselves, but I will never forgive the Waitrose-dwelling organic beef stroganoff sniffers for sabotaging our chances of putting together a government for the many.

The last poll I read had Keir Starmer’s Labour on 30% - that’s 15% behind the Tories - and this is without a vicious right-wing media selling you to the people of Britain as a baby-eating Maoist - one who is ‘too scared’ to press the big red button that will ensure the destruction of the entire planet and all those that live upon it.

Apart from Tory cockroach Jim Davison.

This 30% is more than 2% lower than Jeremy Corbyn’s 2019 general election result, and the gap between the Tories and the Labour Party is now 4% more than the 11% that separated the two parties in 2019.

Starmer has been in the job for thirteen months, and things are worse now than they were in 2019. This is fucking inexcusable, and the fact he is still the leader of the Labour Party is as puzzling as it is disturbing.

I cannot even begin to imagine what it would be like to support this Labour Party leadership. Dishonest? Disingenuous? Or just plain dirty?

Starmer only needs to look an hour or so to the west of me to see what Mark Drakeford is doing in Wales. Is it perfect? No. Is it eminently better than this clusterfuck of a country and the politicians that bleed it dry? Yes.

While Welsh Labour are introducing a UBI pilot scheme, Keir Starmer’s Labour are busy suspending party members such as Howard Beckett.

Which approach would you call an “election winning strategy”?

Labour’s lack of vision, policies, and opposition, combined with a useless leadership intent on punching inwards, means the Labour Party is only heading one way now.

They’ve already gone right, and shamefully so, but now they’re in a downward spiral, and I’m afraid it is simply no less than what they deserve.

Talk soon folks,

  1. Starmer is a a true blue Blairite, just like a Christopher Nolan film everything is inverted.

I'm Starmer's world- Socialism is evil, Jeremy Corbyn is Satan personified! And the Palestinians are persecuting their Israeli neighbours.!

In Quiff's world going after whistle blowers is more important than dealing with his friends illegal behaviour.
You insist on imposing a Remain supporting privatisation backer doctor as the candidate for Hartlepool and wonder why you candidate for his arse handed to him on a plate!

Labour's internal party bureaucracy is deliberately sabotaging it's chances of ever winning power.
Corbyn's one major drawback, he didn't root out the enemies within.

    1. In a nutshell Jonathan, Keef was brought in by mandleson & co for one reason to stop socialism, his meteoric political rise wasn’t by chance it was a scorched earth policy that was meant to alienate the red wall, 2017 scared the establishment shitless, & labour were warned to keep their gravy train on track or face the wrath.
