Ten Pledges, Five Missions, One Liar

What does it tell you about the state of the Tory government when a deeply untrustworthy, morally defunct, control freak quisling with the charisma of a swing-bin like Keir Starmer and his tragedy of a Labour Party can routinely command 50% in the polls?  Being less dishonest than the deplorable and discredited Conservative government really isn’t a massive selling point to the politically homeless.  It’s really nothing to do with ideological purity, or some sort of lifelong loyalty to all things Corbyn and absolutely everything to do with demanding transparency and accountability from a Labour leader that abandons a promise as frequently as Boris Johnson abandons his offspring.  I know what a small number of you are thinking. Something like, ‘why doesn’t she have a go at the Tories?’, yes?  To answer the question directly and honestly, Keir Starmer is a Tory.  If you look at things simplistically it’s easy to think Labour are on the left and the Tories are on the right, but that’s bla

Corbyn v Labour: This Is A Fight That We Can Win

"Let me be very clear that Jeremy Corbyn will not stand for Labour at the next general election as a Labour candidate."  Keir Starmer, desperate to keep his elitist donors and supporters happy, has ruled out any chance of Jeremy Corbyn standing for the Labour Party as the candidate for Islington North.  It wasn’t that long ago that the arrogant and dishonest Keir Starmer thought Mr Corbyn was good enough to be the Labour leader and Prime Minister. But now Jeremy Corbyn isn’t good enough to be a Labour MP?  And let us be “very clear”.  Keir Starmer was a key part of the attempted coup of Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership in 2016 - aptly named the “chicken coup” - when he submitted a letter of resignation.  The letter was something like, ‘ Dear Jeremy, I’m quitting because everyone else is’.  That particularly coup failed, but the silent coup to discredit and remove Jeremy Corbyn continued until 2019 under the guise of the People’s Vote campaign and a barrage of frequently exaggerat

Anderson: One Of So Many Reasons Why The Tories Are Finished

I am old enough to remember when the mainstream media in Britain told us what a disaster it would be to have a decent, principled and authentic Prime Minister named Jeremy Corbyn.  In fact, they didn’t stop going on about how he would crash the economy, leave Britain without power, and leave you paying more for your utility bills than ever before.  They also warned you how the Labour Party would be flooded with Russian money, getting an appointment with your GP would be like winning the Omaze million-pound house draw, and strike after strike would bring Britain to a grinding halt. Sounds like we dodged a bullet there… But something I don’t remember is the same media warning us about the 2019 intake of Conservative MPs, particularly the odious gormless thug and new Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party, Lee Anderson.  Most of us know a Lee Anderson.  Anderson is the obnoxious loudmouth in the pub that moans about single mothers owning an iPhone.  Anderson is the annoying colleague a

100 Days Of Scandal & Failure In Sunak’s Broken Britain

Image
I am old enough to remember a time when a political leader would typically enjoy a honeymoon period.  Boris Johnson was only 100 days into his leadership when Covid-19 arrived, and Liz Truss’s honeymoon didn’t even get as far as Heathrow before the messy divorce proceedings began. Rishi Sunak has managed to survive for 100 days as Prime Minister - an impressive achievement when compared to his predecessor - but has the Goldman Sachs Prime Minister improved the fortunes of the rapidly-dying Conservative party?  In short, no.  In fact, the Conservatives are as far behind Starmer’s red Tories today as they were the day the disgraced Etonian yeti Boris Johnson departed the top job. This has absolutely nothing to do with the Labour Party being of any use and absolutely everything to do with the Tory party being utterly shit, of course.  So it would appear the days of a political honeymoon period have been temporarily suspended until the establishment can get its house in order.  Whilst the
