A Hand Up Is Not A Handout: The Only Thing That Should Be Rising Is The People

Image
It’s August 2022 in leaderless Tory Britain and basic governmental social responsibility for the welfare of the people has been neglected beyond anything I can ever remember.  The oblivious political class has a callous indifference to the very real suffering of the people - our people - during the biggest squeeze in living standards for a generation.  The government of the day cannot act quickly enough to hand over your money to ensure major shareholders of huge corporations - like the energy fatcats, or banks and other financial institutions - aren’t in the depressing position of having to lay-off one of their au pairs.  So why doesn’t this bailout bonanza apply to the poor and working classes? And why are so many of us willing to live under the thumb of the British elite while the country is crumbling and burning to the ground?  As you know, I can go on for hours on end offering my opinion as to how we ended up in such a perilous position in the first place, and there’s every chance

Enough is Enough: This is a Class War

Image
“ This is a class war. It is being done to us by Etonians and people from Winchester. Our fellow workers are lying about in the road. Others are going to foodbanks. Starmer has got to start saying this word: redistribution.”  Correct me if I am wrong, but this sounds like fighting talk from the indomitable RMT Union Secretary General, Mick Lynch.  You won’t find many politicians using the term “class war”, because they are the class that is raging this war of state-inflicted poverty on the poor and working classes in Britain.  And this is why, in my very humble opinion, the Enough is Enough campaign, a movement that was created on a shoestring budget, and is currently supported by more than 400,000 people, is in a prime position to reignite the left movement.  Just think, 400,000 supporters. That’s more than the entire Labour Party membership and it is more than the Tory and Lib Dem memberships, combined.  Let’s get the inevitable comparisons with the rise of ‘Corbynism’ out of the way

This Cost Of Living Crisis Is State Sponsored Poverty: Enough Means Enough

Image
‘Never has so little been done for so many by so few’.  Your politicians are a disgrace, from across the political spectrum. They are failing to grasp the gravity of the cost of capitalism crisis and the devastating impact it is having on the people they are elected to serve. Honestly, I have never known a time where the apparent ‘leaders’ have been so out-of-touch with reality. The most powerful tool our politicians should possess is their own personal example. Let’s explain this slowly for the honourable (lol) political leaders.  The energy firms are announcing record profits on an almost daily basis. The people of Britain are facing average utility bills of £5,000 a year, with £571 coming in January. Can you see where I’m going with this, Mr Johnson and Mr Starmer?  This broken immoral government is giving your money to Shell, a corporation that’s just announced a £7 billion profit for 3 months of trading, while foodbanks are running out of food, working people are rationing their e
