Gavin Williamson: Go Away And Shut Up

Caution: The following blog will include various swear words, such as “fuck”, “shit”, and considering the subject of the blog, “twat”, or a combination of all three is possible. 

Gavin Williamson. Where do you even begin to start?

What an absolute fucking disaster. I can’t even begin to imagine how students feel today. I can only read the outrage and get a sense of the anger, upset and bewilderment of students, parents and teachers. 

Giving Williamson the big job was always going to be a risk. But Johnson needed nodding dogs for the top job, such as Patel, Raab, Sunak, Hancock, and the creepy rake Williamson, all covering governments highest offices of state. 

The fact they are a bunch of corrupted incompetent shitehawks is purely coincidental. 

But Williamson is super-special. If a radiator could walk and talk, it would be Williamson. The guy makes Keir Starmer look like the life and soul of any party. He is a coffin on legs. You get the idea. I mean, why the fuck would you keep a tarantula on your desk? Is it to make up for lacking down below or something? 

44-year-old Williamson used to sell fireplaces, and pottery. Obviously this is the perfect background for a man that held the position of Secretary of State for Defence, a job he went on to lose following a leak from the National Security Council. Williamson "strenuously" denied leaking the information about Huawei's potential involvement in the British 5G network, but nobody believed him, because he is a Tory, and will forever be known as ‘National Security Risk’, whether he likes it or not.

Oddly, both of his parents were Labour voters. 

But that’s enough eulogising for now, let’s take a look at what the inept trainee Grayling has done today. 

Here’s a few tweets to give you an idea. If you search on the #ResignWilliamson trend, you will find plenty more. 

His position is untenable. 

First, we have Williamson going through the motions and platitudes.

But I’m not sure he was expecting this… 

Becky wasn’t holding back, and rightfully so.

This is a tiny fraction of the outage. Some of the stuff is unprintable, such is the level of vitriol towards the embattled Education Secretary. 

In normal times, an opposition with any real intention of power should be demanding the resignation or sacking of Williamson. But these aren’t normal times, and it’s definitely not a normal opposition. As I asked yesterday - Seriously, What Is The Point Of Sir Keir Starmer?

I’m seeing a greater force of opposition from students, teachers, online activists and parents. You should be bringing these people with you, Sir Keir. Your leadership is abysmal. Your shadow cabinet is (mostly) a collection of left-wing Tories and MPs who were considering switching to the political revolution that was Change UK, not that long ago. You have intentionally sidelined talented MPs from BAME backgrounds. You have utterly failed to reach out with the hand of friendship to desperate souls risking their lives in rubber dinghies. Just show some opposition, some character, and some socialism, for the love of God.

Will Johnson remove Williamson? Probably a better chance of me being the next leader of the Labour Party. Johnson and Cummings like to have a scapegoat, and Williamson fits the bill, but Johnson owns a large share of the blame for the A-level results disaster. 

People should be calling for the resignation of Williamson on principle alone. 

Let me remind you. Gavin Williamson has spent interview after interview, pretending he is worried about “the poor and most disadvantaged children”. Do you actually believe that fucking old nonsense? 

To prove his concern for the poor and most disadvantaged children, Williamson announced he will be issuing fines to parents that don’t send their children back to school next month. 

Williamson has voted to cut benefits FIFTY ONE times, playing his part in delivering austerity for the very same poor and most disadvantaged children he wants to use as Covid-19 guinea pigs. 

Williamson would be over promoted as a paper clip auditor. He is a disaster, an absolute Grayling. 

He has to go.

Worryingly, we’ve still got the GCSE results to come next week. Get rid now.

Keep demanding justice for the students and keep demanding the removal of the liability that is Gavin Alexander Williamson.
