Why On Earth Would You Trust A Single Word Keir Starmer Says?

Image
We are just a few days away from the compulsory coronation celebrations - a bit like the mandatory mourning we had for the Queen - and we know the hypocrites of the right-wing mainstream media will be full of glorified pro-monarchy bullshit for days, if not weeks to come.  So I’m not going to waffle on about Charles and Camilla when I can stick it to Keir Rodney Starmer and his band of Poundshop Tory wannabes.  Let’s crack on.  Just for absolute clarity, I will not support Labour, I will not defend Labour and I certainly won’t be voting Labour come hell or high water.  I don’t do “the lesser of two evils”, there is no least worst option, and the idea that we should get Keir Starmer in government and then try to convince him to honour the pledges he made in 2020 is so unbelievably naive that only a Starmer-supporting centrist could ever believe it to be possible.  Let’s talk about proportional representation for a moment. Just last year, and backed by Unite and Unison, Labour delegates

A Liar And A Betrayer: I Cannot Vote For Keir Starmer’s Labour Party

Let’s get the date out of the way first of all. Yes, the local elections are to be held on May 4th. No, I’m not a fan of Star Wars and can guarantee you this won’t be filled with nonsensical jokes, apart from the nonsensical joke, Keir Starmer.   On 4 May, more than 8,000 seats will be contested at 230 councils across England. Mayoral elections are also taking place in Bedford, Leicester, Mansfield and Middlesbrough.  The Tories are bracing themselves for a fucking hammering. Cabinet ministers are making limited appearances in targeted areas and party insiders say they are likely to lose hundreds of seats - possibly as many as 1,000 - although that could simply be a case of expectation management.  Labour will undoubtedly make significant gains off the back of the Tories unpopularity, but their strategists will be watching closely to see if they are making enough progress in areas where they need to pick up seats at a general election.  Places such as Darlington, Derby, Plymouth, Thane

One Tory Party Is More Than Enough So Why Do We Need Another?

“It does seem that gone are the days of the 20-plus point Labour lead. I think that is down to the fact that there isn’t a great deal between the two parties at the minute in terms of what they are presenting.”  Chris Hopkins, Director at polling firm Savanta. Stop for just one moment and imagine, what would happen if Jeremy Corbyn had a thirty-something point poll lead and turned it into a just about double-digit point poll lead in the space of a few months off the back of the atrociously inept governments of Johnson, Truss, and Sunak?  The People’s Vote marchers would start marching again, the US government would put Jeremy back on their ‘one to watch’ list of threats to global peace (the fucking irony, eh?), and the racist human rights abuser Benjamin Netanyahu would tweet some old pish about Mr Corbyn selling raffle tickets for a Hamas fundraiser. Mr Hopkins has absolutely fucking nailed it.  I repeat: “…there isn’t a great deal between the two parties at the minute in terms of wha

Just How Low Is Keir Starmer Willing To Go?

No prizes for guessing where we are going with this today. You probably know me, I’m always up for giving the Tories a bloody good kicking. Ask more than 100 of their MPs - including Dominic Raab, Sajid Javid, Therese Coffey, Nadine Dorries, Suella Braverman and Nadhim Zahawi - if you don’t believe me.  But unlike Keir Starmer, I would draw the line at shamefully exploiting abused children to attempt to postureas the party of law and order.  Who on earth in Keir Starmer’s office thought this would be a sensible line to attack with? Doesn’t Keir Starmer have a single fucking brain cell in his brylcreem-topped head? Whatever happened to they go low and we go high? Build a better Britain? Not like this you don’t, Mr Starmer, you despicable elitist shithouse Tory lickspittle. I knew Starmer was willing to scrape barrels that no other Labour leader has scraped before him, but this intentional exploitation of vulnerable children is straight out of the far-right playbook.  What does this diab
